Assignment 1
My Plan:
I am going to take pictures of my sister with her hair down and try to focus on the contrast between her skin and a hair color.
My Shoot
For this shoot I took photos of my sister against a white wall so we could keep the neutral theme going. I also had her wear a black hoody to show the only color was her skin and hair. I like how some of the photos turned out but some are not that good. I really wish she wasn't looking at her phone the whole time...
My Edits
I like the way these edits turned out. I kept them pretty unedited. I like how they look soft. I didn't mean for there to be so many pictures of her looking down. I love how the only color is her tan skin and hair.
Final
This photo is of my sister, Carter. She is looking down and to the left with a small smile on her face. You can see the braid come around her shoulder and her earring is shining. An element of art I used was form because you can see the shadow on the wall. That proves the three dimensional aspect of a human being. A principle of design I used was perspective because I didn't want this to just be a photo of her smiling at the camera, I wanted it to be kind of candid. I think she looks candid and unique. My idea was to keep the neutral theme and photograph skin color.
